Pantone has influenced global product development and design in many industries for 23 years.
Each year, new technologies, materials and textures are considered for their impact on colour trends.
As we see in the new year, it’s time to bid farewell to "Illuminating Yellow" and "Ultimate Grey"—the two shades that were chosen by Pantone to symbolise unity and hope throughout 2021.

A transformative choice
After much consideration, the colour experts of Pantone (who are at the forefront of forecasting global colour trends) have unveiled “Very Peri” as the Colour of 2022.
It is a shade representative of adaptation and transformation, they say.
