Around the country, people have or are starting to take down their Christmas decorations, including their trees.
However, start your 2022 right by recycling your Christmas tree rather than throwing it away.

When should we take down our Christmas tree?
The tradition goes that Christmas decorations need to be taken down by the “Twelfth Night” after Christmas Day.
Embedded in Christianity, Twelfth Night is the evening before Epiphany and part of the last day of the 12 days of Christmas.
The holiday is in honour of the Magi’s gifts to the baby Jesus. It also includes traditions involving water to reflect the baptism of Jesus.
Some believe that if Christmas decorations are not taken down by the 6th January, they will have bad luck.
