Q&As with small business owners - the stories behind how parents start businesses have appeared on the front covers of our magazine and we want to extend this to our newsletter so we can tell more of them. Have you founded a podcast, shop, comic, festival or have you written a book? We want to hear from you.
Comment on current affairs - a lot of the new agenda focuses on the middle class, and so we want to go one step - or maybe 12 - further and look at topics from the perspective of marginalised and underrepresented parents. So if you’ve got something burning to say about childcare, SEND provision, healthcare, transport, organsing or even cooking, drop us a line.
Reviews - we’re fed up of unaffordable, unsustainable products. We’re constantly sold this line that being sustainable is unaffordable, but it’s just not the case. So we’re looking for products for us to review that meets our criteria: it’s affordable, it’s sustainable and it’s available outside of London. If you sell a product like this or you have a client that does, and you’re happy to send a sample, drop us an email.
Guest columns - we want to welcome parent writers from marginalised background to write guest columns for us. If you’re interested in this, email us. Columns are 600 - 700 words.
Podcast
Panel guest - we want to start engaging in discussions about topics relevant to underrepresented parents, but also make them accessible to everyone. We believe podcasts are the way to do that. If you’re interested in sitting on a panel with me and another guest to talk about a burning topic, email us.
Magazine
Cover stars - each issue of Paranting Magazine has a cover star and we’re always on the look our for someone with a story to tell. So if you’re a underrepresented parent in the UK or you know someone who is, email us and we’ll get something sorted. All cover star interviews also include a cover star photoshoot, so this has to be taken into consideration.
Columns - we have regular columnists for Paranting Magazine and we’d like to feature more in the future. Our columns: Daddy Issues, Baby Talk, Nic’s Nutrition, Father Filthy, Duchess Iphie on Sex and Relationships and Siobhan Obodai-Payne BAME maternal care.
What we love this month - our regular feature of products we at Paranting love. Please email us about sending us samples.
Fashion editorial - each issue of the magazine includes a fashion editorial covering an underrepresented area of fashion that parents love. We’ve included preloved fashion, dog walking attire, Sunday loungewear and Afro-goth. We want to do more so if you’re a fashion company or your clients are a fashion company, email us so we can work together. Also, if you’re a model or photography, we always want to work with you so also get in touch.
Commercial partnerships - we have a media pack which you can get from us by emailing us.

Back in June, I took a break from Paranting because my mental health was low and my burnout was high.
But now I’m back in planning mode and ready to start telling stories again.
